Omokoroa InfoNot really a destination on its own. Across Ōmokoroa Road, steps lead down to Beach Grove and the waterfront. The footpath along Ōmokoroa Road detours through here.
Taken together with Beach Grove, Owen Place and Waterview Terrace, it makes a nearly traffic-free way to cross the peninsula.
A grove of rare Tainui trees was found here in October 2021 and has since been recognised as the largest specimens of the species in the country.
